Ms Joy Chong is a valuable and respected community pharmacist, making significant contributions to Watsons pharmacy department and pharmacy profession. Armed with a MSc in Community Pharmacy (Distinction) and with her expertise as a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP), Joy currently spearheads the clinical team in Watsons as a Principal Clinical Pharmacist.

Eye problems are common complaint that affect many people. Some of these conditions, like dry eyes, conjunctivitis and stye, are commonly seen in community pharmacies and can be treated with over the counter medications.
Earlier this year, Senior Minister of State for Health Dr Lam Pin Min spoke about MOH’s intention to review and replace the existing Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (PHMCA) with a new Healthcare Services Act (HCSA).
