Tentative schedule of upcoming CPE for reference:
The annual National Healthy Lifestyle Campaign organized by HPB will be held from 6- 7 November, 2009. The theme is “Big On Healthy Living”.
From 6 November, the event will kick off with "Know Your BMI, Know Your Risk". This year's campaign focuses on the importance of maintaining a healthy weight.
Although prescription drugs undergo clinical trials before they hit the market, unexpected adverse events may still occur in the general population. Therefore, FDA collects adverse event reports and looks for potential trends. In its latest surveillance report, the agency has identified 19 drugs that are associated with adverse events and, therefore, are undergoing close evaluation.
