This year’s Pharmacy Week will be held between 19-30 October with the theme “Medication Check-Up”. The focus will be to help patients and their caregivers better understand the various types of medication they (their wards) are taking.

Having questions about your medicines and want to know more? Ask your pharmacist right away! These are the catch phrase included in the posters to invite public to come visit their pharmacists. Most pharmacies across the island, including the major retail chain, polyclinics, public and private hospital open their doors to welcome patients or their family members who have queries to come forward and ask the pharmacist. Click here for the full listing.

3 Easy Steps to Know Your Medicines:
1. Call your friendly and professional pharmacist to make an appointment (refer to the list of participating pharmacies near you).
2. Bag all your medicines (including prescribed and over-the-counter medicines, health supplements)
3. Your pharmacist will check your medicines for any drug-related issues and organize them for easy consumption.

(Caregivers are welcome to join the session)
