I would like to thank Gail Chang for nominating me, thank PSS and ICM Pharma for sponsoring this award and Mr Koe Khoon Poh and Ms Lita Chew who interviewed and awarded me with this honor. I’m deeply humbled.  Next, I am grateful to the National University of Singapore, the ever loving mentoring by our lecturers, especially Prof. Lucy Wan who never failed to encourage me all these years, thank you Prof! and last but not least, all my teachers and principals of CHIJ and Catholic Junior College for imparting great values to nurture me to become who I am today.

As a pharmacist, doors were opened to me to serve the community in the retail sector. Being able to help and add value to someone’s life is a blessing. My experience in Guardian Pharmacy as a Retail Pharmacist, sales and marketing in the various pharmaceutical companies like Diethelm, Cilag and Inchcape honed my skills to fully utilize my pharmacy training. I thank all my previous employers and mentors for the opportunities given to me to grow in this industry.

I want to thank my family for supporting me all these years, seen me through good times and bad and shared my joys. Thanks must also go to my colleagues at Ocean Healthcare who stuck with me through thick and thin and helped me build our Ocean Health family. God has blessed me with all these gifts of knowledge, character, perseverance, teachers, mentors, colleagues, friends and family and for that, I thank Him deeply.
