Genentech and FDA notified healthcare professionals of important new safety information regarding tracheoesophageal (TE) fistula formation in a recent clinical study in patients with limited-stage small cell lung cancer (SCLC).

According to UN-affiliated body, International Narcotics Control Board (http://www.incb.org/incb/index.html), abuse of prescription drugs is about to exceed the use of illicit street narcotics worldwide.

We’d like to congratulate our Vice President, Ms Fatimah MK, on occasion of her promotion to Senior Pharmacy Manager.

 

Ms Fatimah has been the Pharmacy Manager of Alexandra Hospital since 2001, having moved from the then National Pharmaceutical Administration, the preceding organization of Center for Drug Administration of HSA.

In the recent Public Forum organized by CASE, Vice President of PSS, Ms Fatimah MK shared with the participants a candid talk with real examples how drug pricing and choices can affect the bill size of patients’ visit to clinics.

Following the PSS AGM on 23-Mar-2007, a new PSS Council was elected and the various office bearers were decided during the recent Council Meeting.
