Professor Derek Stewart is the Professor of Clinical Pharmacy and Practice at the College of Pharmacy, Qatar University and Manager of Academic Quality Affairs at the Qatar University Health. In this presentation, he will discuss global developments in pharmacist prescribing, with particular emphasis in Scotland, outlining the requirements of education, training, implementation into practice and the research evidence base.
