With effect from 01-Apr-2012, PSS Fellow Members - Mr Liak Teng Lit, who has been the Chief Executive Officer of KTPH, was promoted to to Group Chief Executive Officer of Alexandra Health System. Prior to this appointment, Mr Liak was the CEO of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital from August 2010 and March 2012. He was instrumental in the planning and commissioning of the acute care hospital. He was also the CEO of Alexandra Hospital from October 2000 to July 2010, Changi General Hospital from January 1997 to January 2000 and Toa Payoh Hospital from February 1992 to December 1996.

Mr. Liak is a pharmacist by training and has been the pioneering force behind the transformation of pharmacy practice from the old era of public system to the restructured system which we are more familiar with today.
