Volunteer pharmacists required for upcoming community outreach activity

New! Medication Clean Out Project at Chin Swee

This event is a collaboration between PSS and the City For All Ages, Aging Planning Office. The Kreta-Ayer Kim Seng Division has been running the Bed Bug Eradication Programme for several years and one of the common problems seen was large stashes of medicines (some of which have expired) in the home of the elderly. As such, PSS will embark on a programme to provide home medication review visits. This time round, we are aiming to cover 46 elderly and will need at least 15 pharmacists to ensure we will be able fulfill this activity. Each pharmacist will be partnered with a grassroot leader. You will cover about 3 homes if we achieve the targeted number of volunteer pharmacists.

  • Venue: 2 blocks of rented flats at Chin Swee
  • Date: 17 May 2014 (Saturday)
  • Time: 10am to 12noon
  • What will be done: Medication Clean Out, sorting and medication review
  • Target no. of beneficiaries: 46

If you are interested to join us, please email admin@pss.org.sg with the email header "Volunteer for Medication Clean Out Project at Chin Swee". We will contact you shortly with more details.
