The new Executive Committee of the NUS Pharmaceutical Society (NUSPS) has taken over with the new lineup headed by Constance Neo Xue Rui - a year 2 student. The full line-up of the Exco and a brief to their portfolios are as follows:
President
• To represent NUSPS at all official functions
• To oversee and direct the activities of the EXCO, Sub-Committees and Ad-hoc Committees of NUSPS
• To assist the Honorary Treasurer in the control of NUSPS Finances
• To maintain contacts and liaisons with PSS and external organizations
Vice-President
• To be the IPSF Contact Person
• To oversee the duties of the International Relations (IRC) Committee and the Pharmacy Profession Awareness Campaign (PPAC) Committee
• To assist the President in all matters of the society
Honorary General Secretary
• To be responsible for the maintenance of the NUSPS Archives, Library and Notice Board
• To update the student body with NUSPS activities
• To record the CCA points of NUSPS members
• To chair the Annual General Meeting of NUSPS
Honorary Treasurer
• To receive and deposit all money due to NUSPS
• To keep accounts of all financial transactions of NUSPS for his/her term
• To submit a full audited statement of finances of NUSPS at the end of the financial year
Finance Director
• Sole marketing representative of NUSPS
• To source for sponsorships catering to all NUSPS events
• To plan and organize fund-raising projects for NUSPS:
- Annual Bazaar
- Quad-Fac Bash
- New fund-raising projects
International Relations Committee Director
• To organize and host students on IPSF SEP in Singapore
• To receive and disseminate latest information on International and Regional Pharmacy events
Media Resource Team Director
• Chief Editor of all publications of NUSPS
Responsible for all publications of
- Elixir Newsletter (every semester)
- Pharmaceutica Magazine (annual)
• To coordinate publicity for all NUSPS events
• To maintain and update the NUSPS websites and forum
Pharmacy Profession Awareness Campaign Director
• To plan and organize the Health Awareness Campaign
• To organize the Xperience Pharmacy Camp for JCs
• To assist PSS in the Annual Pharmacy Week
Social & Education Director
• To organize functions and entertainment
• Responsible for administration and organization of NUSPS sports activities
- Inter-year Sports Carnival
• To organize enrichment trips and workshops
- Patient Counselling Event
- Talks by Alumni members
- Pharmacy profession-related talks
- Industrial Field Trips
Welfare Director
• To handle feedback, suggestions and complaints from students
• To maintain the NUSPS Room
• To conduct survey on the student quality of life
• To provide any feasible student services as deemed necessary by the student body
