A delegation of Nippon Pharmacy Association (NPhA) Executive Board Members was in Singapore recently to meet with Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore.


About 14,000 fewer women were diagnosed with the breast cancer than had been expected in the USA according to a report presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium recently.

It is 2 years away from the 22nd FAPA Congress to be hosted by Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore. Activities and efforts to boost overseas participation has already started in Yokohama.

What comes to your mind when one Singapore is mentioned?  Is it the yummy food, lush greenery or our “fine” law and order?

One thousand four hundred delegates from 19 different countries attended the 2006 FAPA Congress in Japan and half of them were foreign delegates.


A research team at the University of Rochester, New York discovered that common chemotherapy drugs damage more healthy brain cells than cancer cells.

 


Another year is drawing to a close. Looking back, it’s amazing how much has taken place during the past 12 months. At Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, 2006 has been a very eventful year.
