Updates on the National Medication Information Leaflets (MILs) by PSS National Medication Information Workgroup.

Strengthening and harmonization of warnings on suicidality and mental state worsening risks in all anti-depressants, certain anti-psychotics, anti-epileptics and Montelukast MILs:

• To improve patient awareness, education, empowerment and activation
• To highlight such risks especially in people below 25 years of age
• Sensitivities in the phrasing and wordings were taken into consideration in conveyance of these risks
• Agreement and consensus for the finalized wordings were sought with the College of Psychiatrists as well as the relevant chapter specialties of the College of Physicians, Singapore
