Visit by Food and Drug Administration of Guizhou Province
On the 25th Oct 2017 (Wed), PSS hosted a group visiting guests from Food and Drug Administration of Guizhou Province.
The delegation was led by Mr Shu Yong, the Chief Inspector in Food Safety. The group comprises 17 chief pharmacists and researchers from relevant offices. It was their first visit to Singapore and PSS. They learnt much about the local healthcare landscape and the regulatory framework of health products and pharmacies. Mr Shu Yong also shared about the regulatory framework in Guizhou and the importance of regulating Traditional Chinese Medicines.
Towards the end of the session, the visitors had an opportunity to interact with our council members and sample some of our local delights.
It was a fruitful visit for the guests and the hosts, with both learning something new from each other. We thank Mr Shu Yong and his group for their time and look forward to meeting them again in the future.
