CPTC Graduation Ceremony, Annual General Meeting (AGM) Cum Pre-Registration Pharmacist Training Programme Closing Ceremony were held at the Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital, Tower B, Level 1 Auditorium. We bring you some of the snapshots from the events which started from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
CPTC Graduation Ceremony
In 2016, there were 22 candidates for the 28th and 29th CPTC intakes who enrolled for the full training programme and 15 candidates for certain specific modules.
On 18 March 2017, a graduation ceremony was held at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Auditorium to celebrate their achievement and also to present the CPTC Certificates to the graduates. These graduates turned up with their spouse, relatives or friends. There was such an atmosphere of joy, sense of achievement and celebration as they each spent over 10 months of their evenings learning and upgrading their knowledge and skills. The celebratory occasion was further boosted with the presence of their managers, trainers and colleagues. The ceremony was graced by the PSS President – Ms Ng Hong Yen, Management Representative (Past President) – Mr Ng Cheng Tiang and the 110th PSS Council Members.
PSS 111TH AGM
The PSS 111TH AGM was successfully held on 18 March 2017 at 2.30pm at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Auditorium. The annual report and financial statement for year 2016 were passed. The 111th Council was then elected into office. Ms Ng Hong Yen was elected as the President of the 111th Council. The floor gave the mandate for the new Council to elect the office bearers for the 111th Council. The minutes of the 111th AGM will be circulated via email to all PSS members within 2 weeks of the AGM.
The AGM was followed immediately by conferment of PSS Fellows. This year, a total of 4 pharmacists were recognised for their substantial contributions to PSS and the pharmacy profession over the years with this conferment. Congratulations to our newly conferred Fellows of PSS, Ms Chan Soo Chung, Mr Ng Cheng Tiang, Mr Lim Mun Moon, and Dr Camilla Wong!
Pre-registration Pharmacist Training Programme Closing Ceremony
A total of 180 successfully completed the training. Mr Wu Tuck Seng, President, Singapore Pharmacy Council, delivered a very inspiring speech, sharing his journey in the pharmacy profession with all pre-registration pharmacists present. Certificates of completion of the Pre-Registration Pharmacy Training Programme were then presented. Congratulations to all the graduating pre-registration pharmacists and welcome to the PSS family!
