The 21st Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) Congress has been successfully held in Yokohama, Japan.

Nearly 1,400 delegates participated in the 4-day event which covered topics on 10 various pharmacy and pharmaceutical sections.
Since its inception in 1964, FAPA has held it’s congresses in various member countries without fail and the next congress, 22nd FAPA Congress, will be hosted by Singapore for the first time in 2008.

The congress in Yokohama also saw the transition at the helm with Mr. Peter Brand of Australia handed the baton to Dr. Soo Ja Nam of Korea after serving 4 illustrous years as President of FAPA.

Throughout the event, PSS was given a booth at the exhibition area where PSS delegates canvassed and promoted Singapore as the next destination for the 22nd FAPA. Contact details of the delegates were collected and souvenirs were distributed to visitors of our booth. In the closing ceremony, Pharmacueitcal Society of Singapore was given a session to feature and  invite all delegates to come join the next congress in Singapore 2008.
