PSS & National University of Singapore Pharmaceutical Society (NUSPS) wins the WeCare @ North West Award
PSS and NUSPS were presented the WeCare @ North West Award at the North West Volunteers' Night 2014 on 2 March 2014. Volunteer's Night is an annual event held by the North West Community Development Council (NWCDC) to appreciate volunteers' efforts in creating a caring and healthy community.
Since 2011, this collaboration between PSS, NUSPS and NWCDC has reached 700 residents in the Northwest area through the “Know Your Medicines, Get it Right! @ Northwest” programme. Activities included medication reviews for the elderly, various programmes and public education talks to promote the safe use of medicines.
The next activity is slated to be in the fouth quarter of 2014. Do look out for it! Let us know if you would like to volunteer!
