Updates from PSS IDSIG

Ever since the first successful Journal Club held in September 2015, the PSS Infectious Disease Special Interest Group (IDSIG) has seen an increase in membership. One of the plans for 2016 from this group is to hold regular ID Journal Clubs for PSS members!

Our second IDSIG Journal club was held on 29 January 2016 which saw a great turnout with more than 80 participants from various institutions. We were treated to an enlightening lecture on Polymyxin versus Colistin by Ms Cai Yi Ying from SGH and a well-discussed review on Polymyxin B usage in TTSH by Ms Tan Sock Hoon.

We received feedback from some of the participants that the session was helpful and relevant to their clinical work. This was certainly encouraging as we look forward to more successful journal clubs to be held in the coming months!
