2016 New Year Party

On 22nd January, the Young Pharmacist Chapter (YPC) co-hosted the 2016 New Year party with the hospital chapter.  Pharmacists coming from the hospital, community, academia and industry all gathered together at Owl Bar for a night of fun, relaxation and laughter. In addition, this New Year party offers an opportunity for Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore (PSS) to thank all those who have dedicated their time and effort for the society in the year of 2015.

Simple decorations for the night!

All PSS volunteers, members and non-members were welcomed to a night of sumptuous food, free flow drinks and entertainment. The night provided an avenue not only for the young and the senior to network and foster new friendships but also for the seniors to strengthen old bonds. The food and free flow drinks specially catered by the Owl Bar indeed filled everyone to the brim after a long week of work. Despite the rain, all the guests turned up in full force for a night of revelry.

 Delicious satay!

To add a little spice to the event, we had tailored a series of games such as Bingo and guessing the baby photo of the Council members for the guests to participate in. There was a round of games to break the ice. It was encouraging to see people from different backgrounds getting to know one another through the games, with laughter ringing throughout the room. Besides the games, there were attractive prizes to be won in the lucky draw. Majority went home beaming with their lucky draw prizes, which were kindly sponsored by Galderma and PSS.

Thank you PSS and Galderma for their generous sponsors.

A night filled with awesome interactions and laughter.

Special thanks to our council members who showed their support by gracing the event and sharing baby photos of themselves! The members of the Hospital and Young Pharmacist Chapter would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for their continuous guidance.

Last but not least, it is the unwavering support of our volunteers that make all our PSS events a success time and time again. A big thank you to you all!

Stay tuned for more exciting events coming your way this year. On behalf of PSS, the Hospital and Young Pharmacist Chapters wish you all the best in your endeavours for 2016!
