Hospital Chapter
Ex-Officio: Ms Joyce Tan
Provide a platform for all Hospital Pharmacists to network and build upon one another’s strength. Activities include Special Interest Group (SIG) activities, organizing professional education sessions to meet the needs of hospital pharmacists, In the Spotlight activities and many more!
Community Chapter
Ex-offiio: TBD
To influence professional practice of Community Pharmacists to improve health outcome for our patients. Increase the awareness of the public, government-linked agencies and other stakeholders on the role of Community Pharmacists in the total healthcare system. Activities include overseeing and enhancing the PHAP programme, Shining Stars, production of patient information leaflets for newly reclassified medicines, be a voice of all matters pertaining to community pharmacists and many more!
Industry Chapter
Ex-officio: Mr Ivan Chew, Ms Tracy Chean
Represent the views and interest of pharmacists working in the pharmaceutical industry and to provide them with opportunities for continuing education in their related fields
Professional Education Committee
Ex-officio: Asst Prof Christine Teng
Provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) to pharmacists, thereby raising professional standards; develop and expand CE, provide pre-registration pharmacist training, organize relevant courses and accreditation programs for pharmacy staff
Public Education Program Committee
Ex-officio: Mr Tan Wee Jin
Empower members of the public to be better informed about their own health management and medications, minor ailments and chronic disease management. Activities include organizing our highly successful and creative annual Pharmacy Week, coordinating public outreach efforts and many more!
Membership Committee
Ex-officio: TBD
Drive membership for the society, fostering an active and motivated membership and leadership, organize social events for members. Activities include sourcing and liasing with external parties to bring more benefits to our members, assessing members needs and engaging our members.
Communications Committee
Ex-officios: Asst Prof Christine Teng
To serve as sounding board and communication conduit for the society, maintain constant updates for the website and e-bulletin, coordinate media activities. Join us if you have a flare in writing as we will be reforming our editorial team to bring the most exciting updates and news to our members!
Young Pharmacists Chapter
Ex-officio: Ms Sharene Goh, Ms Tracy Chean
For pharmacists aged 35 years and below. To connect young pharmacists, start initiatives, share opinions and needs for development. Be the pioneer and lead your profession through this exciting new avenue.
