100th PSS Council Elected Print E-mail

The 100th Annual General Meeting of Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore was held successfully on 29 Mar 2006. A total of 30 people present there saw the birth of a new President Ng Cheng Tiang. The other council members elected for the 100th PSS Council are : Dr Li Shu Chuen, Irene Quay, G. Balasubramaniam, Chan Soo Chung , Koh Oon Sim, Lou Huei-Xin, See Yen Theng, Sunita Raj Nambiar, Tan Yin Yin,  Dr Camilla Wong and Fatimah M.K.

During the AGM, the new 100th PSS Council unveil an exciting vision for Pharmacy in 2008 based on 4 key thrusts as follows:

1. Build Organisational Capacity within PSS
2. Invest in Young Pharmacists
3. Establish a strong, identifiable Identity and Image for Pharmacists and PSS
4. Identify new Areas and Roles in which Pharmacists can develop into

We welcome abroad the 12 council members to steer PSS into the new pharma vision of 2008.  At the same time, let us not forget  the immediate past council members who have stepped down : Janice Chua, Katrina Eng, Meah Wee Chong and Tan Ai Lee for their contribution and service provided.
