Alfred and Lucy Wan Fund 

All of us are sad to learn of the passing of Prof Alfred Wan Sai Cheong on 13 November 2005.  Prof Alfred Wan had contributed significantly to the pharmacy education and practice in Singapore. As a teacher, he taught many pharmacists from 1953 to 1997 and was Head of the Pharmacy Department of the National University of Singapore from 1978 to 1988.  He was also President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore from 1986 to1988.

As a tribute to Prof Alfred Wan, we would like to appeal to you to contribute to The Lucy and Alfred Wan Pharmacy Fund. 

The fund was established on the 31st July 2001 and its main objectives are to:

1) Support alumni activities
2) Promote educational activities
3) Promote external relations with the industry and educational institutes

Disbursement of the funds will be conducted by the fund raising committee in line with the objectives stated above.

Any amount of donation, no matter how small, will be your kindest participation and will give immense meaning to the Fund.  All donations are tax-exempted, in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
