The recently concluded 18th Singapore Pharmacy Congress (SPC) with the theme “Patient-Centred Practice, Innovation-Centred Research”, showcased yet another significant achievement in the pharmacy practice and education in Singapore.
Jointly organized by PSS and the NUS Pharmacy Department, the two-full day events held over 01 - 02 July attracted more than 400 delegates from 22 countries, viz: Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, The Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and Vietnam.
It was indeed a special event in the calendar of the pharmacy community not just in Singapore, but also for the visitors from the region. On behalf of PSS, we’d like to once again thank the Organising Committee headed by Ms. Lim Siew Woon from NUH and A/Prof. Chan Sui Yung from NUS for putting in countless amount of efforts to deliver such a great meeting to all the delegates. To all other PSS members and the student volunteers who have contributed silently in the background, we’d like to express our special thanks to all. Last but not least, to all those delegates who have supported and chosen to spend their precious time attending lectures and networking with other delegates, many thanks and hope that you all have enriched yourselves tremendously. To our sponsors, a very big thank you for making the event possible. We are really very grateful.
