For a very long time now, pharmacists in Singapore have been requesting for mandatory separation of dispensing from prescribing by the physicians.

In Oct 2007, PSS organized its annual Pharmacy Week event with the theme  “Know Your Medicines, Get It Right!”

Recently, Indian federal drug regulator, Drug Controller General of India (DCGI),  instructed scores of combination drugs to be withdrawn form the market. This is a rare notice for such drugs, more so when it came from the Indian regulator.
