Excerpt of Speech by Ng Cheng Tiang, President, Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore on occasion of the Opening Ceremony of the 19th Singapore Pharmacy Congress.

The opening ceremony of Singapore Pharmacy Congress has always been the occasion to recognize our outstanding pharmacists and pharmacy students. The recently concluded 19th Singapore Pharmacy Congress saw 4 outstanding individuals recognized.

The 19th Singapore Pharmacy Congress was held successfully between 19-21 Oct 2007 at The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.

During the recent inaugural Asian Federation of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AFPS) conference, one of our members, Assoc. Prof. Paul Heng was elected as Vice President of this new Asian grouping. 

Getting more health conscious and into natural wellness is a growing trend in Singapore.  As “health is wealth”, everyone would like to be in their best state of health.
