Image New Strategy in Adulteration & to Evade Regulatory Detection

On 8-May-2009, Straits Times reported a male strengthening capsule purportedly to contain 100% natural product (tongkat ali). Lab analysis eventually revealed that the product contained tadalafil – a part 1 poison substance. Tadalafil is the active of erectile dysfunction drug registered under the brand Cialis® by Eli Lilly in Singapore.

Since we last reported outbreak of swine flu in Mexico, 2 things have changed; firstly the name of the flu has been renamed to H1N1 flu; and secondly the very first case of confirmed case of H1N1 infection reach Singapore shore on May 27; and as on May 31, 5 cases have been confirmed in Singapore.
