Ten months after the Seoul ACCP 2009 & four years after PSS' first participation in the ACCP in Bangkok, we have the honour of hosting the event with a whopping 1,200 delegates arriving from 26 different countries.

It was during the ACCP in Bangkok in 2006 that our then President - Ng Cheng Tiang - suggested to the ACCP Board that Singapore should host the upcoming ACCP, a suggestion which finally has become a reality & PSS was proud to host this very successful event. The meeting was preceded by a smaller but equally spectacular APOPC which attracted pharmacists from all over Asia Pacific who are involved in the oncology field. Our Past Vice President - Lita Chew - has been very involved in this grouping & the Congress wouldn't have taken place in Singapore if not because of her.

For the ACCP, the event has been very the usual Board meeting before the opening ceremony. The event was graced by Chairman of Government Parliamentary Committee for Health - Dr. Lam Pin Min.
