Ms Lee is a Singapore pioneer in the areas of clinical nutrition and clean room operations and was instrumental in the set up of the Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) program in which Singapore saw it’s first HPN patient. Ms Lee obtain US Board Certification in Nutrition Support in 2006 and as an active member of the SGH Nutrition Support Team, she conducts
total parenteral nutrition rounds and helps to tailor nutrition support regimens to meet individual patient needs.

Her expertise extends to the development of the Quality Assurance Program on Aseptic Dispensing and she has developed many guidelines in this area. Currently, as a Senior Principal Clinical Pharmacist at SGH, Ms Lee takes on a portfolio that has seen her spearhead and facilitate new initiatives such as inpatient pharmacy centralization and implementation of a drug sample coupon system.

She is instrumental in successful implementation and coordination of quality frameworks at SGH such as JCI accreditation, ISO, and OHSAS. She is well recognised for her expertise in this area and was part of an SGH team that conducted JCI Consultancy Assessment for a China Hospital. Ms Lee has also been appointed to national committees such as the MOH Patient Safety Working Committee.

She is well respected by colleagues both within and outside of the department and is an inspiration to our young hospital pharmacists.
