The invited guests present included our Chief Pharmacist (Ministry of Health) cum President/Registrar (Singapore Pharmacy Board) - Ms. Ang Hui Gek,  and President (Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore) cum Chief Pharmacist (Alexandra Hospital) - Ms Fatimah MK.
Like any other ceremony, the event would never be complete without speeches. The event kicked off with an Opening Speech by Chairperson, PSS Pre-Registration Pharmacists’ Training Subcommittee - Ms Maggie Tan; and the Welcome Speech by PSS President and Chief Pharmacist followed. .

There are 82 pre-registration pharmacists in this batch and they posed happily for a group photo which captured the sense of anticipation and eagerness to wanting to join the work force. This batch of trainees are the second batch of pre-regs who are required to fulfil the entry-to-practice assessment based on Singapore Pharmacy Board’s  Competency Standards and Examination. Outline of the SPB's Competency Standards and Examination was outline by Mr. Wu Tuck Seng - SPB Chairman of the Board of Examiners.

On behalf of the PSS, we wish all of them a fruitful journey and we too look forward to them joining the fraternity soon.
